To Our Parishioners -
By virtue of our baptism, each of us has been entrusted with the mission of
Jesus - a mission to proclaim the Gospel (most of all by the way we live), to sanctify (especially through celebration of the sacraments and prayer), and to serve (especially the poor in our midst)
We are called to participate in the mission not only directly in what we say and do in our lives each day, but also by the support we give the Church - to our Parish, our Diocese, and to those in need.
I invite you prayerfully to make a decision on your financial stewardship of our Church. Know that I remember all of you in my prayers. Together may we accomplish the mission Christ has entrusted to us.

The biblical concept of Tithing calls for 10% of all we earn to be returned to the Lord. Parishioners who tithe, typically, give a portion of their tithe amount to their Parish, a portion to the Diocese (Annual Catholic Appeal, etc.), the Universal Church (Missions, Peter's Pence, etc.) and a portion to other charities of their choice.
Weekly Contribution
We invite you to consider giving, as a minimum weekly offering, at the 2% level to your Parish. You can do so by clicking here.
In April 2009, the parish finance council approved the establishment of the Saint Brigid Parish Tuition Endowment Fund and designated $300,000 from parish savings to start the endowment. Interest earned from this endowment helps parishioners who need financial assistance in order to send their children to Catholic grade schools and high schools. Beginning this year, any funds collected in excess of the parish goal for the diocesan Annual Catholic Appeal will be applied to the tuition endowment fund. The endowment fund is also expected to grow through designated gifts from parishioners and through proceeds from fundraising events.
