St. Brigid Cross

The cross of St. Brigid, woven with rushes, dates back to the fifth century. Tradition attests to the saint using this symbol of Christ's crucifixion in her ministry. The Feast of St. Brigid is celebrated February 1st. The stained glass below, a gift to the parish, was hand-crafted by James Taylor (JT) and Jenny Campbell, who demonstate the loving nature of the lay-faithful of St. Brigid's Parish, with their generosity of time, and talents. |
