Liturgical Ministry
Liturgical Ministers:
Contact the Parish Office at (858) 483-3030 to inquire about serving in either of these areas of ministry.Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion - Assist the Priest-Celebrant with the distribution of both the Body and Blood of Christ during mass. Additionally, some are prepared to take communion to members of the parish who are homebound.
Readers - Assist with the Eucharistic Celebration by reading from the Lectionary the readings during the Liturgy of the Word, and Lead the prayers of the faithful.
Ministers of Hospitality - Assist the worshipping community by greeting and assisting members to their seats. Coordinating the Offeratory collection and procession, and guiding people during communion procession.
Music Ministers - Aiding the congregation in worship during the Eucharistic Celebration by leading the congregation in song.
Altar Servers - Assist the Priest-Celebrant during the mass.
The Assembly - Fully participating in the Eucharistic Celebration.
