Give Back Sunday

This program is a chance for us as a community to give back to some local organizations that need our help. The third Sunday of each month is designated as "Give Back Sunday" and highlights one organization. On that Sunday, goods will be collected for that group at each mass. One week beforehand, a "wish list" will be published for the organization in the parish bulletin. Only items from the wish list will be accepted. Information about these organizations will also be distributed for people who might be interested in helping out in other ways.

A couple examples of selected organizations are Birthline of San Diego and CCSA (Christian Community Service Agency). See the Social Ministries calendar for the organizations to be supported each month, their wish list, and the actual dates for each collection.

How YOU can help:

• Keep these organizations in your prayers
• Bring items from the wish list to church and drop them off at the table in the parking lot before or after mass
• Volunteer to help collect goods at the tables
• Contact one of the groups and learn about other ways that you can help them
