The mission of our Social Ministry, arrived at through prayerful reflection, research and recommendation, is to promote the integration of social justice in all aspects of our parish life. Our goal is to encourage and facilitate open communication among parish groups to empower people to respond to the call of Jesus for social justice within and beyond our parish community. We recognize the hard work and dedication already present in the parish. It is our hope to encourage existing programs as well as identify, develop and implement new programs, in response to the urging of the Spirit. All is to be accomplished in alignment with St. Brigid Parish and the San Diego Catholic Diocesan Office of Social Ministry.
