Dear friends,

So many of you have been asking what you can send the street children here in India for Christmas-thank you so much!  I asked the woman in charge of the children's home where I am working and living what the main needs of the kids are and have put together a list:

10 beds (about $23 a bed)
bed sheets
medicine
school fees for 4 children ($12 a month per child)
school books, uniforms 
sweaters for 27 children
kitchen supplies
arts and crafts supplies

You can also sponsor a child for $20/month or sponsor a child to take dance classes for $7/month.  The easiest way to contribute is to make a donation in the form of a check written out to  "Salesian Lay Missioners" and write "Snehalaya" on the memo line of the check.   You can mail the check to:

Please write a note or specify on the memo line of the check what you would like your donation to go towards (school fees, medicine, etc).
